Itinerary

1: Arrive Mumbai
Arrival in Mumbai airport, Traditional welcome and transfer to hotel. Rest of the day at leisure and overnight stay at hotel.

2: Mumbai City Tour
Morning after breakfast, leave for for a city sight seeing of the commercial capital of India including the Gateway of India, is situated at Apollo Bunder – built to commemorate the visit of King George V and Queen Mary to India in 1911. Excursion on motorized boats across the Arabian Sea to the Elephanta Caves, which house several, sculptures and images sacred to the Hindu faith. Of special mention is the sculpture of the Holy Trinity of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva – the Creator, Preserver and the Destroyer.

Later in the afternoon visit the Hanging Gardens: The giant Old woman’s shoe in the Kamala Nehru Park is very popular with children to play in. One gets a panoramic view of parts of the city from these parks situated at the height of Malabar Hill which provide lovely views over the Arabian Sea.

3: Delhi – Ahmedabad – Wild Ass Sanctuary
Catch a flight from Delhi-Ahmedabad in the morning and drive towards Ahmedabad-Dasada (2.5 hrs.). Drive in the Little Rann of Kutch at the Wild Ass Sanctuary to see the Asiatic Wild Ass and other faunal attractions. Overnight stay in a forest resort.

4: Little Rann Of Kutch
Enjoy a full day visit to the Little Rann of Kutch for bird watching & nature viewing. Overnight stay in a forest resort.

5: Little Rann Of Kutch – Gondal
Drive from Dasada-Gondal (210-kms.) via Wadhwan, Surender Nagar, Chotila. Overnight stay at a heritage hotel.

6: Gondal – Gir National Park
Drive from Gondal-Sasangir (85-kms / 2 hrs.). Gir National Park is the last refuge of the Asiatic Lion. After lunch, take a jeep drive into the National Park. Overnight at the lodge.

7: Gir National Park
Morning and evening tours to Gir National Park. Overnight at the lodge.

8: Gir National Park
Full day in Gir National Park. Overnight at the hotel.

9: National Park – Rajkot – Mumbai
Early morning drive to Rajkot (4-hrs.). Catch the connecting flight to Mumbai. Arrival at Mumbai in the afternoon. Overnight stay in the hotel.

10: Mumbai – Hubli – Belgaum – Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary
Catch a flight from Mumbai-Hubli or Belgaum in the morning and transfer to Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary. Take a afternoon drive to the sanctuary for wildlife viewing. Overnight in a wildlife resort or Kali Wilderness Camp.

11: Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary
Enjoy a morning elephant ride for wildlife viewing and afternoon raft cruise for bird watching.

12: Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary – Goa
Early morning nature walk. Drive to Goa after breakfast (4 hr). Overnight in a beach resort.

13: Goa
Morning half day sight seeing of South Goa. Afternoon free at leisure. Overnight.

14: Goa
Morning sight seeing of South Goa. Afternoon free to explore the beaches of Goa.

15: Goa
Fullday free for own activities. Overnight.

16: Mumbai
Morning after a leisurely breakfast catch the flight to Mumbai. On arrival check in to hotel. Afternoon free at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

17: Mumbai Departure
Today free for last minutes shooping and transfer to airport to board the flight for onward journey.
